These are practical tools. There is also a page for learning about graphics.

  • Mediabuilder helps you create animated gifs, background textures, borders, icons and lines.
  • Gifworks is a terrific resource. They offer a number of tools, online, for working with images. Their resources include 3D Text maker, Button Maker, FontMapper. Their GIF optimizer helps you to reduce the size of an image. They also offer a collection of free images.
  • Use of alt tags is a great resource on this attribute.

  • My Imager for editing images ONLINE! You can resize images, crop, reduce the file size of both jog and gif files, set transparancy and quite a few other effects. It's not quite as complete as the famous Imaging Machine, but it is viable!

  • Image Forge is not an online tool, it's a free graphics editor program to download and use on your PC.
  • PhotoPlus is another free graphics editor program to run on your PC. It has an HTML editor companion, WebPlus.
