Greetings from Paula Edmiston!

I'm looking forward to working with all of you!

I bring you a background in designing and maintaining professional and non profit web sites. My experience includes a year at Georgia Tech Research institute working with K-12 educators to help them use technology effectively. I've designed and taught classes on computer software, and on using the Internet while an Adjunct Associate Professor of the Computer Science Department at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. My background as a librarian gives me a unique perspective and has enriched my ability to work with educators.

I most enjoy revealing the secrets and magic of computers and the Internet to newcomers. The power that is unleashed when people learn how things work is awesome.

Although I tend to spend rather many hours on the Internet, I also enjoy designing and stitching quilts, and I take every opportunity to find time to play with my nephews, who have been known to teach me a thing or too!
